Stunning Summer 2024 Aloft Downtown Cleveland Wedding

Nothing is better than an outdoor summer wedding with the most fun people and Julia and Jack’s Aloft Downtown Cleveland Wedding with Lago Custom Events was no exception! From start to finish, there was no moment that wasn’t full of fun, laughter, and the best time.

Julia and Jack’s Aloft Downtown Cleveland Wedding Day went off without a hitch

We arrived to Julia’s parents house the morning of her wedding day to a welcoming and hilarious bridal party who hyped their bestie up every chance they got. Hair and makeup were in the very capable hands of our favorite beauty experts in northeast Ohio (hair by the extremely talented Jessica Gemma and makeup by the amazing Andrea Perchinske). They had Julia looking absolutely STUNNING!!

The guys spent the morning getting ready at Julia and Jack’s download Cleveland apartment before heading over to the Aloft hotel. They did run into a completely unexpected downpour of rain that could have led to some disappointment (considering the wedding ceremony was outside). But luckily the rain was swift and it never interrupted the day at any other point in time (thank goodness).

Once the girls arrived to the Aloft hotel, the bride and groom decided they wanted to do a first look on the penthouse rooftop overlooking the lake. It was hot, but so worth it. Seeing each other for the first time was so sweet and emotional and it was so beautiful to witness.

Julia and Jack’s wedding took place during the Cleveland Air Show, so guests got to see some very cool things happening before the ceremony. Yes, it was loud, but luckily the air show ended before the ceremony, so it was all good.

Once it was time for the ceremony, guests took their seats and eagerly awaited to celebrate the gorgeous couple. With 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, Julia and Jack’s wedding party was huge. Having so many people who love you standing by your side on your big day is the biggest honor. We loved seeing the happy tears, the hugs, and the genuine happiness throughout the day.

After the outside ceremony on the lawn, it was time for cocktail hour. One of our favorite parts was the professional Saxophone player that Julia and Jack had play for guests. It was such a unique touch and the music was top notch. Next it was time for the tented wedding reception hosted by Lago Custom Events and the party was officially started!

The night was FULL of so much fun. We don’t even know if we can convey with words just how much fun. The only thing we’ll say is “Espresso Martinis.” You’ll just have to check out the party photos to see all the fun for yourself! 🙂

Our Favorite Part of this Aloft Downtown Cleveland Wedding

We had SO many favorites from Julia and Jack’s day that it’s almost impossible to narrow it down. Instead Jay and I (Autumn) each picked our own.

Autumn’s favorite was when the bride and her bridesmaids all tried the Lidocaine trick. If you haven’t heard of it, the girls sprayed numbing spray on their feet before putting on their heels. The idea is that their feet will be so numb that they won’t hurt wearing their heels all day. Some say it works, some say not. We can neither confirm or deny, but feel free to try at your own risk.

Jay’s favorite part of the day was the Air Show and all the cool plains flying overhead and doing tricks before the ceremony. Seriously, what a unique aspect of a wedding day?!
