Megan and Peter’s Shoreby Club Wedding Was the Perfect Mix of Fun and Elegance…

We started this Shoreby Club Wedding day off at the Hyatt Arcade in downtown Cleveland where the bride and groom got ready separately and then shared a perfect first look. Megan and Peter are both probably the most laid back bride and groom we’ve ever worked with. They truly just enjoyed their day and trusted us to get the pictures of their dreams. We always aim to have our couples relax and these two embraced that philosophy fully.

The Hyatt Regency at the arcade always makes a great getting ready (and first look venue) because of the architecture. We love shooting there. After did the first look and took some bridal party pictures on the iconic stairs, we headed off to the Shoreby Club for the rest of the day.

The bride and groom included lots of time in their day to hang out with their bridal party and take pictures before the ceremony. There was champagne popping, group laughing, and pure enjoyment by all. Everyone was relaxed and completely in the moment – not a drop of stress for miles. When it was time for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony right on the water, everyone was feeling every emotion the day brought on.

This was Megan and Peter’s second wedding day thanks to COVID. We actually got to shoot their intimate backyard wedding on their original wedding date. So this was officially our second wedding together. Because of the circumstances, these two knew what they liked and didn’t like and they adjusted their new wedding day accordingly. BOTH of their weddings were truly perfect for them and we loved getting to capture each.

After the sweet outdoor ceremony, we headed to the tent at the Shoreby Club for a fun-filled reception where everyone let loose and enjoyed themselves. The dance floor was full and happiness was abundant. Megan and Peter had so much fun with all their guests.

OUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM THIS SHOREBY CLUB WEDDING:

If we had to choose a favorite moment of this Shoreby Club Wedding, it was probably the popping of the champagne before the ceremony. The bridal party gathered on the back patio of the Shoreby Club for a champagne popping photo. Peter let it loose and Megan wasn’t exactly ready for it. The reactions were hilarious and definitely made for memorable pictures!
