We love unique weddings and this one was so much fun. Brittany and DJ got married in the morning and followed it up with a brunch and dancing with their favorite people. We started the day with the bride and groom each getting ready separately at Park Lane. The champagne was flowing and everyone was having a good time.
When the ceremony started at the Ballroom at Park Lane, things started getting emotional. You could see the happiness on the groom’s face as soon as he saw his bride and Brittany wasn’t able to make it down the aisle without the tears flowing. DJ met her in the aisle to comfort her and walk her the rest of the way. It was the absolute sweetest! During the ceremony, the bride and groom recited personalized vows that wowed their guests. We can honestly say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.
After officially becoming husband and wife, the delicious brunch started compliments of Marigold Catering and it was incredible. Who would have known breakfast foods would be such a great addition to a wedding day? The bride and groom also opted for a Doughnut Wall which again, was perfect for a morning wedding. Guests could even take doughnuts home with them for later.
After eating, it was time to party and if you think people don’t want to dance early in the day, you are wrong! Everyone had such a good time dancing and drinking together. When the party came to an end, the bride and groom had a sparkler exit with all of their guests. Nothing could have wrapped up the day more perfectly.
Once all guests headed out, we explored downtown Cleveland to get photos of the bride and groom. It was just the right timing for golden hour and we got a really great sunset to work with. We took pictures by the water on Lake Erie and around the Art Museum. Brittany and DJ looked gorgeous and had so much fun with each other celebrating becoming husband and wife!
First, we love the location of the Ballroom at Park Lane. It’s situated in a perfect spot to be able to get to great spots in and around University Circle. You can take pictures at Wade Lagoon, The Cleveland Art Museum, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and so many more locations right by Park Lane.
Secondly, we love the outside of Park Lane. The building itself has so much character and is historic and then there is the garden. The Park Lane garden is so beautiful, you literally wouldn’t even need to go to any of those other locations for photos if you didn’t want to.
The other thing we love about the Ballroom at Park Lane is the beauty of it. The inside is so iconic. There is a speakeasy room as soon as you walk in with the most gorgeous architecture. There is even a balcony area and so many little spots for guests to explore. The ballroom itself can be transformed to fit any wedding vision.
