This amazing venue opened in 2022 and it was immediately obvious that it was the perfect place to get married. It offers such modern luxury in Wooster Ohio and the natural light available is to die for!
The best part is that The Wellspring offers so many options for taking photos around the property. As northeast Ohio wedding photographers, of course that is important to us. But we now it’s important to you as well! So, let’s get right into our favorites, shall we? These will be in no particular order.
The main feature of this venue is the Reception Hall that holds 200 people. There are so many options for photos inside this stunning hall! Starting off strong with the can’t miss, large window wall in the main area. This is such a great spot for natural light and it brings all the drama.
The next spot inside the reception hall that makes a great location for wedding photos is right inside the main entrance. This area provides a bright white backdrop with even more natural light. We love that this space works as a blank canvas to turn into whatever you want!
But wait, there’s more. Yet, another great space for wedding photos inside The Wellspring Reception Hall is the bridal suite. This room is perfect for the entire bridal party to get ready in. And in case you haven’t guessed yet, there’s even more natural light here. They even have second bridal suite for the guys!
Well that’s actually four different spots all within the reception hall. Maybe this list is going to be much longer that 5 photo spots. Oh well, the more the merrier, right?
We LOVE that this giant window makes such a gorgeous backdrop from outside too! What a great way to show off your venue in your wedding photos!! And not only can couples get great wedding photos there, but there are also two covered side patios with string lights that are very photogenic.
These covered areas can come in handy if it rains too, which is always a plus. Especially considering this is northeast Ohio anyway. Honestly, what couple wouldn’t want to be captured cuddling together here?
We feel that this one needs very little explanation, but we’ll still be explaining! The grounds are exquisitely manicured with beautiful trees that make a perfect backdrop. There is also so much room for the entire bridal party and guests on the grass.
What we love most about this spot is the park-like setting it offers without having to go anywhere. It’s so close to both the reception hall and the chapel. It allows couples the opportunity to get a different look for photos without having to be too far from their guests.
Another great photo location is the chapel and, of course, it’s versatile inside and out. The inside makes a great ceremony spot and can hold up to 170 people. What a perfect place to get married year round.
The outside of the chapel makes a great spot for the bride and groom to take photos together before or after the ceremony. This building looks so nice as a backdrop up front or further away. You really can’t go wrong.
And again, we love that this showcases the venue in your wedding photos. It makes the perfect background.
If you were to ask us what the best photo location is at The Wellspring as sunset, we’d have to say this is the one. That golden hour glow is just, chef’s kiss, on this hill. It’s really hard for anyone to not look good in this location, are we right?
The sun comes through those trees just perfectly. You can’t go wrong with this shot.
Honestly, we can’t find one thing that’s not to love. The owners of the new, unique venue really thought of everything. If you are looking for a bright, clean, modern space that offers luxury, beauty, and romance… The Wellspring is your only option! The last thing we’ll leave you with are more photos from Mackenzie and Michael’s Wellspring wedding day.
We’re so obsessed with this venue and we think so many of you will be too. In this day and age, when wedding venues are so plentiful… finding a hidden gem is so much fun. The Wellspring is a clean, beautiful, modern wedding venue with plenty of room to have the perfect day. And everything is in one place, so you won’t need to leave the grounds for anything. It’s a 10 out of 10 if you ask us!!
