Romantic and Swoon-Worthy Ohio Sapphire Creek Winery Wedding

KALI AND SPENCER’S SUMMER SAPPHIRE CREEK WINERY WEDDING WAS AMAZING IN EVERY WAY

We’re obsessed with every detail of Kali and Spencer’s summer Sapphire Creek Winery wedding. First of all, let’s talk about how perfect of a venue Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens was. Around very single corner was such a unique aspect that photographed beautifully. Also, THE BOURBON GARDEN!! More on that later.

After spending the morning getting ready with the bridal party at Sapphire Creek, Kali and Spencer had a first look. It was such a sweet moment and we love that they wanted to see each other and take most of their photos before the ceremony. Once it was time to say “I do,” Kali and Spencer were so full of emotions – laughing and happy crying all the way. Witnessing these two tying the knot was so special and we feel lucky to have been there.

Next, it was time for the romantic ceremony outside, then the party got started and everyone got in on the fun. Since Sapphire Creek provides so much space for guests, it was nice seeing everyone enjoying different areas during the reception. And because it was a nice summer evening, people were able to enjoy time outside under the gorgeous lights, hanging out by the fire. All in all, the day was amazing!

OUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS SAPPHIRE CREEK WINERY WEDDING

We’ve never seen a bourbon garden or heard of the tradition of burying the bourbon, but now that we have, we’ll never forget it. The idea is to bury a bottle of bourbon before your wedding day to ward of rain and then you dig it up on your wedding day. Kali and Spencer did it, of course, and it absolutely worked! We’ll be believers for the rest of our lives. The forecast literally called for rain all day, and we didn’t run into a single drop. If that doesn’t convince you, we don’t know what will!
