We couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate this sweet bride and groom in downtown Cleveland. The EY Penthouse (which sits atop the Ernst & Young Building) was such a stunning spot for Angie and Jay to tie the knot. We stayed in one place the entire day – the guys and girls got ready at the Aloft downtown right next door to the EY Penthouse. After the first look, we walked across the street to the boardwalk at the East Bank of the Flats and then took pictures outside the Ernst & Young Building.
Once it was time for the ceremony, every gathered in the rooftop space 20 stories up. Angie and Jay wrote and read their own vows, which were so beautiful and sweet (literally the best). They both added some humor leaving everyone laughing (including each other) to go along with the tears that came as well. When we weren’t laughing, we were crying!
After the ceremony, the party took place downstairs in the lobby of the Ernst & Young building. One of the best highlights of the night was when Angie’s dad and brother played the drums while everyone danced a traditional Lebanese dance. We loved seeing everyone get into it and even those who didn’t know the dance were willing to get up and learn it. It was so much fun!
Our favorite moment from this amazing wedding day was when we were doing portraits on the rooftop and the crazy wind was whipping the bride’s (super long) veil around. I almost had a heart attack at one point when I thought the wind took it away and blew it off the roof. Luckily, Angie had it secured pretty tightly and it didn’t end up going anywhere… but it provided us a good laugh (and some bad ass pictures)!
“Three & Eight Photography was hands down the easiest and best decision I made when planning my wedding. From the moment my (now) husband and I met Autumn, we knew she was who we needed to shoot our wedding! She’s prompt with emails, texting, phone calls, etc. and she’s so well organized which was something that was a must for me! She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted out of our wedding photos, and she gave awesome advice when it came to questions I had and with making decisions. She was an absolute joy to work with from the very start! We both felt so comfortable in front of the cameras and it was all thanks to her!” – Angie
“Autumn and Jay were fantastic! As a guy who really hates taking photos, they made me feel comfortable and natural. There was no awkward posing or weirdly staged shots. They let my wife and I make all the decisions and specify what photos we wanted, but they also gave us all the direction we needed (which was a lot). Autumn had amazing ideas and we had a ton of fun shooting with her! Autumn was flexible, prompt and great to work with. If I had to do it all over again, I’d pick them!” – Jay
