Truly Beautiful Chagrin Valley Country Club Wedding in Summer

Mary and Christian’s summer Chagrin Valley Country Club wedding was a day full of so much joy…

We first met Mary and her family when we did her sister’s wedding photography back in 2020. We always love when we get to reunite with families for another wedding. Seeing everyone again was so much fun and spending the day together was amazing.

Here’s how this Chagrin Valley Country Club Wedding day went…

Mary started her day at her parents’ house getting ready with her siblings and the rest of her family. It was a pretty laid back morning and their elderly family dog was the sweetest. The vibes were so calm and joyful at the same time. Very on brand for Mary.

Christian started the day getting ready at his house with his family. The vibe was also calm and joyful for the guys. There were lots of laughs and the nerves were melting away as the ceremony grew closer.

The wedding ceremony was at St. Claire Church in Lyndhust which was the perfect venue. The architecture, the aisle, everything was just perfection. Mary and Christian shared laughs and tears up at the alter and their guests felt everything right along with them. The view of everything from the church balcony was to die for. After exchanging vows and being announced as husband and wife, Mary and Christian held a receiving line to greet each of their guests as they left the church. They also put some pretty aggressive bubble guns in the hands of the kids, which created a bubble explosion. Something we would recommend for every wedding day actually!

After leaving St. Claire’s – we were off to Chagrin Valley Country Club for the rest of the day/evening. The country club outdid themselves, every last detail was beautiful. The reception took place mostly outside, aside from the sit down dinner. The golden sun setting paired gorgeously with the patio and golf course outdoor setting.

Once the sun set – it was time to party! Mary even changed into to cutest party dress for the second half of her reception and it was stunning. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had the best time!

Our favorite part of this Chagrin Valley Country Club Wedding day:

One of our favorite parts of this Chagrin Valley Country Club wadding was Mary’s nephew who loved Batman. Throughout the day, this little guy stole the show. He was very excited to be wedding day “batmam” and it’s how his parents were able to get him to do things. At the reception, he got to wear his cape and run around “flying” on the dance floor. It was the sweetest and most fun to get to witness.
