Faith and Austin’s Engagement session was a dream for this Ohio Wedding Photographer

As an Ohio wedding photographer for over 10 years, we always tell couples to choose an engagement photo location carefully. First, we recommend thinking about the place that helps tell your story as a couple. Whether it’s where your first date took place or where you visit every weekend with friends. Every couple has their go-to meaningful spots. Then, when you look back at your engagement photos, years down the road, you’ll remember why you chose that spot.

Faith and Austin decided to have their engagement photo session between their own and their parents’ property. We adventured all around the locations that they spend so much time in their life. What could be better than this? Nothing, it was perfect! Not only was it beautiful, but the colors, environment, and light brought everything together so seamlessly.

This engagement session was in Canal Fulton in northeast Ohio. We decided to shoot during golden hour right before sunset and it was just the most perfect summer evening. The love radiated off of Faith and Austin and watching them together was amazing.

Faith is currently enrolled in beauty school and made sure her hair and makeup was perfect for her engagement session. Something else we always recommend for brides: schedule your engagement session on the day of your wedding hair and makeup trial. That way you’ll be photo ready and won’t waste that trial look. Trust us, you’ll be so happy with this decision!

Finally, our last tip is to just enjoy each other during your engagement session. Think of it as a time to be fully present in the moment and just focus on your love. It’s like a little date night that you’ll get to look back on forever.
