These images look good and are a great way to show off the people you and your partner have chosen to stand beside you on your wedding day, but maybe you want something a little different. Maybe you want to show off your bridal party’s fun side?

There are fun, simple ways to allow groomsman and bridesmaid to express themselves while still ending up with photos you’ll love and cherish for years to come!

1. Throw the bride and groom up in the air

Weddings are all about celebrating! Get the whole group involved in throwing the happy couple up in the air. What better celebration photo could you get? And everyone will have a blast. Just be careful – no injuries allowed on the wedding day!

2. Capture kiss reactions

A great way to let your wedding party goof off a little bit is to share a quick kiss with your partner with your bridesmaids and groomsmen in the background. Have them cheer you on, hype you up or just react to your kiss. Their expressions will give you something to laugh at and enjoy when you look at the photos later!

3. The Flying V

Calling all Mighty Ducks fans on this one! Yes, I know, it’s totally old school. But, honestly, you can’t go wrong with the flying V. It allows all of your bridal party to get in the picture (great for a larger group that are difficult to get in the shot) and it looks so good. You can do this one in a serious manner or have fun with it and get everyone to do something funny. It works in any scenario!

4. Do your best impression of the groom

We absolutely love this one! If you tell the entire bridal party to do their best impression of the groom – you always end up with gold! Everyone’s impression will be different, but then they will all lead to genuine laughs out of the whole group. So much fun!

5. Champagne Spray/Toast

Champagne sprays are all the rage these day – a trend that we love, to be honest. Gather as a group and pop a bottle of champagne and spray it all over! Then, you can all toast to the couple while getting a really fun picture!

6. GROUP HUG

This one works best with the girls, although it’d be fun to see with the guys too. Everyone just goes in for a group hug and you get a gorgeous, sweet, fun picture out of it. It’s so easy!

7. Be Cool

Want to look like the coolest wedding party? Have your bridal party do their best “cool guy” pose. Feel free to pull out the sunglasses to make it even cooler.

8. REENACT YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE SCENE

This one requires some planning if you’ll need props. This bride and groom knew they wanted a Harry Potter photo and they made sure to bring their wands along on the wedding day to make it happen. This one is most fun when your entire bridal party embraces it and does their best reenactment.
