Dazzling Cleveland Rooftop Metropolitan at the 9 Wedding

Haley & Jonny’s Gatsby Themed Metropolitan at the 9 Wedding is Everything Summer Wedding Dreams Are Made Of…

We were already obsessed with this Cleveland Hotel in general, but Haley and Jonny’s incredible roaring 20’s themed Metropolitan at the 9 wedding just increased our obsession. Not only is the hotel gorgeous, but the rooftop is truly a sight to be seen.

We started with the bride and groom getting ready with their girls and guys separately before heading to the rooftop for a first look. The weather couldn’t have been better – it was a perfect sunny summer day, not too hot and not too cold. After a truly breathtaking first look, the bridal party headed down to the Vault in the basement of the Metropolitan at the 9. If you’ve never seen this area, it’s definitely worth a trip, there’s nothing else quite like it in Cleveland.

The bridal party enjoyed drinks at the Vault bar making for great pictures. Their families also joined in on the Vault fun. It was such a great way for everyone to enjoy time together before the rooftop ceremony.

Once it was wedding time, everyone gathered on the rooftop and the bride and groom had the most incredibly sweet, emotional ceremony you could imagine. There was laughter and happy tears and so many good feelings to go around. After the ceremony, everyone headed down to the Vault once again for a one of a kind cocktail hour and then a reception filled with all the fun.

The bride and groom snuck out of the reception for some golden hour photos in downtown Cleveland, which turned out to be some of our favorite photos of the day! We played around in the median getting photos with the city of Cleveland as the backdrop.

Back at the reception the happy couple jumped right into the party. Their dance floor was full all night long and we could tell guests were having the time of their lives. There is nothing better than a great party, are we right?

“We hired Autumn and Jay to photograph our wedding which was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but like so many others got pushed out to 2021. Autumn and Jay were amazing in working with us to reschedule our wedding and provided as much support as possible from across the country during that difficult time.
